Some factors to think about when choosing between multiple units are:
Portability - How easy and comfortable will it be to carry with you? Is it lightweight enough to carry for an entire herd health check?
Ease of use - Is it easy to learn and understand the machine?
Ability to function and withstand your working environment - Can it stand up to the on-farm environment and weather?
Power source - If mains power, do you have enough range of movement? If batteries, will they last the time it takes you to scan?
Durability - How long have others used the machine before replacement? What are the maintenance costs and down time?
Image quality - Is the image provided clear enough to make a diagnosis of fetal sex if you want this option?
Viewer - Can you see the image in sunlight? If it is a goggle, can you comfortably wear it for long periods of time? For safety reasons can you still see your surrounding area? If a monitor, can you position it comfortably so you can see the image without strain?
